The Village Art Club of Bella Vista is a non-profit organization which began in 1966, and has grown and progressed through the years since. The Club exists to further art appreciation and education not only within the Club itself, but in the community as a whole. The Club is comprised of members from the area and surrounding region, as well as several neighboring states. Membership is open to those who appreciate the visual arts and wish to support and promote art and artisans in the Northwest Arkansas area, whether they be painters, sculptors, potters, woodworkers, carvers, crafters, or simply admirers of fine art and crafts. All are welcome!!

The Club is the originator/sponsor of some highly-visible venues in the area:

  • Wishing Spring Gallery is a wonderful art, home décor, and gift destination, where some of our members choose to sell their works.
  • The Studio @ Wishing Spring Gallery provides art education opportunities for our members as well as the community.
  • Art on the Creek is our newer, May festival held on the grounds of Wishing Spring Gallery and along McKisic Creek, offering juried art and fine crafts from local, regional and national artisans.
  • Bella Vista Arts & Crafts Festival each October has a 45+ year history of providing juried art and fine crafts, also featuring artisans from near and far, becoming the premier festival in Northwest Arkansas!

One of the Club’s major priorities is to provide higher education art scholarships to aspiring young artists from Benton County.
